Last night was one of those nice lazy nights. I was suppose to go to a meeting that I was excited to attend but Mike got home later than scheduled due to some work issues so I wasn't able to go. I was actually upset I couldn't go - 
I was looking forward to it - but since there was nothing he or I could do to change it, we decided to just have a nice family night. We put "picnic" blankets on the living room floor and all five of us ate a picnic dinner and watched a movie. Once dinner was done, we had a five-person snuggle on the floor until the movie was over. Aine fell asleep before the finale and Mike and I were actually able to be next to each other (which rarely happens when we are all together like that). For a brief moment, until one of the kids spoke or climbed around to get comfy, it was a bit like the old dating days of cuddling and watching a movie - only surprisingly I didn't fall asleep.
